You nailed it!

So Dover or Beachy Head?

It takes time for me to get used to new appearance of the website and I do not like the black color of its background.
I still appreciate all your efforts to keep the website alive.

Long time, no see! Where have you been? 🙂

A couple of days ago, I got lucky!
A friend of mine received a large quantity of vegetables, direct from the farm, and as they were going on a trip the next day, she offered to give me some, and that is how I received a big bag of delicious vegetables!
What vegetables you ask? Good question… 😉

I am sure that all those vegetables grow in winter! Like black radish? Cauliflowers? Carrots? Onions? Betroots? What else?
Did you know that black radish is very good to detox your liver? Add some lemon juice on it and you will make a very good starter to give you clear conscience to drink wine or beer later!????

How on earth could you guess?!!! 😉 You got almost all of them right! You just missed shallots…
9th January 2017 at 10:24 am
???? How did you cook those vegetables?
9th January 2017 at 10:19 am
I recognize tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, some salad, an orange (or grapefruit ), and leek.
What have you done with? Was it good?
9th January 2017 at 10:44 am
I think I should explain that the picture you see does not belong to the actual vegetables that my friend gave me. It’s just a photo I found on the Internet.

Some time ago, we talked about the translation of Rumi’s poems into English. This article in The New Yorker is very interesting.

Wasn’t it Xayyâm we talked about?
9th January 2017 at 11:54 am
Right, Khayyam, it was. Translation of poetry in general. Did you like the article?

I think these are Dover’s cliffs. These we see sometimes from Calais by sunny day!
