An educated woman does not accept this traditional and sexist condition. To stay at home only to be pregnant, to cook, to clean all the house and to educate the children. And why a father wants boys? Because girls are less important in his mind, because boys keep the family name, because… what else?
Do you know this slogan in the French Women movement in the 68’s : “A child if I want, when I want”.
