Sometimes it could be pleasant when a man opens a door for me, when we enter a restaurant for example; but if it is becoming regular as clockwork, it becomes heavy, a bit boring. In fact It’s a bit too formal.
Yes usualy I open a door for a woman (that’s my education!), but I regret that often when I receive no sign of thanking.
And in the metro after passing a door, I look behind me to keep it open if somebody arrives, but when I arrive behind somebody, I receive the door on my nose!!! The modern world.
