The word AMITRAM stands for “Society of the International Museum of Metropolitan Transport”, (in French: Association du Musée International des Transports Métropolitains).
This association exists since 1968 to preserve the heritage of urban transport (trams, buses, trolley buses). It owns more than 70 vehicles from France (different areas), Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The largest part of this collection is in a workshop which can’t be visited (maybe in a museum in the future?)

Wow, what a day! We have had almost no articles from any of our members for weeks and all of a sudden, there they are: three interesting articles from Pascale, Azade, and Philippe, in a row. Thank you all for your interesting contributions!
It is probably spring effects?! ;-)
@Blandine L
Lazy effects of springtime? I thought it was a rebirthing time… not only for my garden!
