I have a suggestion though. I think your hummus would taste better if you added tahini (sesame paste) to the ingredients. ;-)

I put sesame oil in mine when I do it. Like Pejman, I think it’s give a better taste

I remember that I read the expression “to jot down” on “MyEnglishWorld” few time ago but I have forgotten what it’s mean!!! (And it’s not in my “Barron’s” pocket dictionary.)

All right then, I have two suggestions with you:
Firstly, why not use this very useful online dictionary with clear and simple explanations, lots of examples, and pronunciation?
Secondly, perhaps one of these days we should go to Furet du Nord together so that I can help you choose a good (pocket) English-English dictionary. (Anyone else interested?)
Me! But rather for an English grammar book with exercises.
