Hi Everybody!
I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I did. What you see in them is the roof of a palace from Safavid Dynasty (about 400 years ago). The palace was actually a “harem” in the middle of a beautiful garden. They believe that it’s a part of the paradise.
The roofs was remained and repaired better so we decided to take some photos…

Your pictures are very nice and the architecture too! Are you on the picture? And if yes where?
Another question: Is there a link between Isfahan and Ispahan? Is it the same word? In my late memories I remember the city of Ispahan. But as I am from Europe it’s a little far from my country and I am unable to say where is located this city!
Thanks Blandine, in response to your second question I should say that I think Isfahan and Ispahan are two different pronunciations of the same name. In Persian Isfahan is more common and could you please tell me where have you seen the word “Ispahan”?
And yes I’m in the picture in the lower right corner with the mustard yellow head scarf.
Ispahan was the name of a French fragrance. I remembered that I drew the bottle when I was young.
According to some users of fragrantica web site this fragrance is named after the city in Iran !!!!
this perfume
I don’t see the photos of Isfahan, while I see the picture of the fragrance!
Try refreshing the page.
(Has anyone else been experiencing the same problem?)
Refreshing the page didn’t help me. It’s funny that I saw the photos of Azadeh’s next post once, but after refreshing the page I can’t see them any more!!
I have. No photo of Isfahan.
I found that the photos do not appear on the main page, but when I click on the empty space which appears in place of the photos, the photos are shown on a separate page.
I think I have sorted out the problem. Will everybody please refresh the page one more time and let me know the result?
Yes, the problem is totally solved now, thank you.
Sorry! Not totally since the photos of Blandine’s post do not appear on the main page.
Try again please.
Did you see the wooden bricks in the walls to prevent earthquake damage? Very ingenious indeed!
