As we have a couple of days of vacation, I and my family decided to visit our relatives in Sanandj, the center of Kurdistan province.
While we were there, we had to go to the countryside with a friend one afternoon. It is spring in north hemisphere and everywhere is green, a special light green that in our climate remains only for about two weeks. Then the green ground become gray and the green leaves get darker.
The place which I was there is a part of a vast meadow and farmer are preparing some parts of it for cultivation.

This afternoon Emmanuelle and I went for a walk along a small river near Lille, La Marque. It’s a pleasure to see the abundance of the vegetation and the flowers in the tree. You are right. This type of light green is specific to semi dry climate, which most of our country’s climate is of this type, and it can only be seen just for few weeks.
